My brothers and sister are the reason I came to Rancho Sordo Mudo; they are all deaf. I am the only hearing sibling in my family. My mother with Gods guidance convinced me to come here are serve even though I did not want to. I took a year off from the university to try this new experience that was before me.

Thanks to this special place my life has been completely changed since I received Jesus as my savior a month after I got here. Since 2000 I have been serving the Lord as a teacher here. I am very happy to be able to teach these children and provide for them an adequate education.

I hope that God will continue to open other doors where I might be able to continue helping the deaf. I thank God for giving me deaf siblings who have been my reason and inspiration for helping the deaf.
